Rosé more interesting

Get out of here.
Carnage in Beruit and Haifa? Yawn. The Connecticuter revolution? Sorry, I just find it all so boring and distant today. I wave my white flag. I'm weary. I'm weak. I want to skip out on work and take my girl out for a picnic. (Where is she?) What I do find interesting : Rosé has the gold seal of the Times fashion and lifestyle section.
“A lot of my friends don’t want to get wasted on vodka and be sick the next day,” said Greg Krelenstein of the MisShapes, a group of three influential Manhattan party promoters and D.J.’s, who tasted rosé for the first time this summer. “And everybody’s off the speed drinks like Spark. I’ve bought rosé for people, and they’ve been excited to drink something that’s not going to make them crazy like tequila.” -Julia Chaplin and Sia Michel

Rosé is great and all but there is a problem with it - it's not dear enough. I've been thinking of the perfect picnic. A girlfriend you've had for a long time might think this is an imprudent use of resources - she'll prefer her rosé in a glass. But if the romance is still young and "it's on" - then consider this scenario. After she's pushed your white bucks to the side of the red and white checked blanket; after your copy of A Handful of Dust has been dropped and the taste of melon is dissipating in your mouth; after you've playfully pushed her down and gotten her mess of hair out of the way, you really ought to have a an expensive bottle of wine. If you are going to be heedlessly pouring  over her neck and making the nape of it your cup - it ought to be expensive.

Also, bring a towel that cab moistened with water. She won't like a sticky neck after about 15 minutes.

A bottle of Taittinger is what this girl likes with a picnic!

Miss Vicki writes : "But, dear Michael, I'm one of a kind!"

Not so. Under her own roof another blooms, so I have Miss Victoria comment.

Same stock, yes; but one is in bud, the other in full bloom!
