He's not going to fuck up anything. He talks tough, but still doesn't do the cheapest easiest thing: stop Muslim immigration and isolate ourselves from the Muslim world. They can do their thing. We can do ours. It's the enmeshment of our two alien cultures in the name of "universal values" that creates conflict and it is separation in the name of recognizing serious differences that would create mutual peace and prosperity. Thus he talks about a "religion hijacked." No religion is hijacked. Some Muslims think Islam means one thing, some another. Having read Qutb, I thinkt he Jihadists have a pretty good argument. THen again, I think the Jesuits do too, but there's plenty of Protestants out there. Who cares what is the real and fake Islam if we're not in there trying to reform their culture but rather just trying to set up boundaries around our own.
